iPhone iLifeLine Application - Introduction
Update iLifeLine for iPhone is now available. This is version 1.1 introduction.

Currently with iLifeLine you can fill out your report in the field that you created on the Windows version of Inspection Life Line. All new purchases of Home Inspection LifeLine will include up to a 3 month subscription of iLifeLine Service, so you will be able to sync reports created with iLifeLine with your home computer to print, etc. If you purchased a 1 month lease, you will only receive a 1 month subscription to iLifeLine.
General Instructions:
- You can create a new report from iLifeLine, simply open up the app and click on the + button on the top right, select template, name your report and click on the "Create Report" button. Your new report is now created.
- Now select the title of your report to begin to edit. If you used the default template the first category listed is "Structure", simply click on the item you are inspecting and input your evaluation.
- If you are wanting to add a picture, at the bottom of each category is an "Add Image" button, click on this button to take a picture for your report.
- After you finish your report you are ready to sync, just visit the "Reports" page and at the bottom left you will see a button that says "Sync", click on this button, then input your login information and tell it to sync your report.
- To view your synced report on your home computer, open up Home Inspection LifeLine, click on "Tools", then click on "Sync". On the settings page input your login information. After you download your reports to your saved directory you should be able to open it on your computer.
To Upload Reports:
- Once you have at least filled out the Inspection Details tab of Windows Inspection Life Line and saved the report you are ready to sync your report with iLifeLine to fill out your report in the field with your iPhone! After it has been saved in Inspection Life Line, simply click on "Tools", then click on "Sync", then on the settings page go ahead and input your username and password, then click on the tab "Upload Reports", select the report you want to sync and press the "Sync" button. Your report should now be saved on our server and ready to download into iLifeLine in your iPhone!
- Now open up iLifeLine in your iPhone and click on the "Sync" button and input your username and password and press the "Sync" button, it will now download your report and press the "Reports" tab at the top to go back and select your report. (Note: You can save your password for iLifeLine by opening up the settings in your iPhone and scroll down until you see iLifeline, then select and input your information.)
- You should now see your report in iLifeLine and you can now select it and start filling out your report. Once you have your report filled out go back to the "Reports" page and click on the "Sync" button again and tell it to sync. It should now give you a message that the report is being uploaded. Once uploaded you should now be ready to download the report on your Windows Inspection Life Line. To download on Inspection Life Line, simply open up the program and click on "Tools" then click on "Sync" and make sure your login information is still on the "Settings" tab, then click on "Download Reports" and select the report you wish to download and press the "Sync" button and your report should now be downloaded. You can now open up your report by clicking on File, Open Report and then select the report you want to open and you are ready to save a copy on your computer, print off, save as a PDF to send off, etc.
Please Read the Following:
- We are in the beta stage of iLifeLine and make no guarantee that it will save the report or save it to the server and ask that you download the report from our server as soon as possible to insure you have a copy of the report saved on your computer. Our testing has worked for us, however if you do have an issue, please report it so our developers can start debugging.
- When editing a report in iLifeLine, the program is set to save the report when you click on the "Reports" button on the top of the page, it is recommended to push the periodically to help ensure that your report is saved on your phone in case of a bug.
